The “Sanctuary” at Clark Rd

Please take a look at these pictures we just received and tell us if this looks like animals "living their best lives" as Melissa Borden constantly claims. She also states these animals are so happy.

Happy in mud, filth, excrement, living on a mountain of old straw, no proper shelters, no enrichment. Some don't even get fresh air or sunlight.

Nothing in these pictures even remotely resembles "living their best lives" to us. They are merely surviving.

Of course Lester is still in his prison, this poor guy will most likely never see the sun again or feel fresh grass under his feet. Alpacas are living in mud.

Fun fact- alpacas don't like mud! It's actually very detrimental to their hooves and they can get terrible fungal or bacterial infections from living in conditions such as pictured.

The large pigs have Old IBC totes or pallets for shelter which is completely inadequate. Imagine weathering some of these crazy rain storms in those. And or course heaps of garbage and debris all over. That seems to be the "Devoted Barn" way. It's only taken Melissa less than 4 months to destroy this property! And let's not forget this property is a mere 14 acres and is zoned for only 11 animals. There are currently over 100 here. But hey, rules are not something Melissa feels the need to abide by! (Just watch all the TikToks of her driving and recording when Michigan just passed the "hands free" law.).

You would think she would have learned something after Newport and Rose Township.

This is completely unacceptable! This is not the way these animals deserve to live and it's time Melissa hung up her dirty rescue hat. She has no proper knowledge or idea how to manage a non profit or how to properly care for these animals that deserve so much more.
